Since Audrey Hepburn first sported her iconic multi-strand pearl necklace in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” celebrities and pearls have gone hand-in-hand, and today’s hottest actresses and singers are no exception.
Pop singer Rihanna was recently seen at a movie premiere wearing over 15 different strands of white and ivory pearls varying in size and length, and Katherine Heigl was seen at her own movie premiere layering multiple chunky pearl necklaces. Other celebrities recently seen rocking multi-strand, multicolor pearl necklaces include Hilary Swank, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashlee Simpson, Whitney Port and Nicky Hilton.
Pearls are versatile enough to be worn with a simple tee and jeans, yet still work with the classic little black dress or evening gown. Multicolor pearls can be layered to create multiple looks from the same necklaces.
